Ms. Lisa Harris developed a great interest in writing and reading as she grew up in mostly quiet and well-grounded settlements that did not require much from her as a child, except for her academic and best work. As a young girl, she has written several poems on various themes that are dear to her heart. Lisa also wrote essays of all kinds throughout primary and secondary school.
Lisa was born on October 29, 1994, in the capital of the Gambia, Banjul, and grew up in Accra, Ghana, where she gained her pre-primary, primary, and one year of junior secondary education. She is truly a book lover and has strong principles that guide her in life. An adventurer who loves to visit new places, Lisa loves to meet new people, and learn new things. She always tries to see the good in people and situations.
Currently, Lisa Harris is a student at the University of Liberia, while she works with girls and young women in Liberia, aiding in their development in every capacity. The 2013 graduate of the Lott Carey Baptist Mission School is dedicated to improving the system of education, and the lives of young people, in Liberia.
